Tahlia is a member of Malley & Co's Dispute Resolution Team, and assists in resolving a range of civil disputes and court related matters.  In particular, Tahlia specialises in:

  1. Separations and the division of property arising out of the same (including personally owned assets, companies and trusts);
  2. Contracting Out Agreements (pre-nups);
  3. Dissolution of marriage (divorce);
  4. Applications under the Protection of Personal and Property Rights Act 1988 (including review of power of attorney decisions and the appointment of welfare guardians and property managers);
  5. Trust claims and disputes; and
  6. Estate claims and disputes.

Tahlia is passionate about helping her clients through what can often be a highly stressful and emotional time.  She prides herself on providing clear and practical advice to her clients whilst assisting them to reach the best outcome.

Outside of the firm, Tahlia is a committee member of the Canterbury Women’s Legal Association and helps organise a variety of events for its members. 

Tahlia was born and raised in Christchurch and joined Malley & Co in November 2022 after graduating from Te Whare Wānanga o Waitaha (University of Canterbury) with a Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Criminal Justice and Certificate of Arts in Te Reo Māori.
