Pip Allan

Pip is an experienced and effective general commercial and civil litigator.  She has particular expertise in contentious estate, construction, insurance, tort, contract and insolvency matters.  Pip also practices in the area of relationship property and can assist with contracting out agreements and divorce and separations. 

Pip acts for a diverse client base, including individuals, small-medium sized businesses and corporates on a range of disputes.  Pip prides herself on her excellent client service, and her ability to provide clear and practical advice.  She regularly appears in a range of dispute resolution forums, including Tribunals, the Family Court, the District Court and the High Court.  She also appears in mediations and adjudications. 

 Before joining Malley & Co Lawyers in September 2020, Pip worked at leading national and regional law firms in New Zealand.  She spent time at Russell McVeagh and Wynn Williams before heading to London and working in-house at an international software company.  On her return to New Zealand, she spent a number of years at Holland Beckett in Tauranga before making her way back to the South Island to take up the leadership of Malley & Co Lawyers' dispute resolution team.
