How We Work at Malley & Co

At Malley & Co in Christchurch we welcome new clients so if you require the assistance of a lawyer or solicitor, we invite you to make an appointment to come and meet us.

We can discuss your affairs, your expectations, your desired outcomes and the solutions that might be acceptable to you.  If you wish, we are happy to arrange for a FREE 15 minute appointment to enable you to get to know us before you engage our services.  If you wish to avail yourself of this offer, please request this FREE 15 minute consultation when you telephone for an appointment.

If you decide to engage our services we usually charge on an hourly basis. An estimate of cost can be provided on request. If at any stage it appears likely the estimate will be exceeded, we will advise you immediately.

The hourly rate depends on the expertise and experience of the staff handling your affairs. To help reduce fees, if appropriate other qualified staff may work under partner supervision if desired. Sometimes we also provide legal services on a fixed fee basis depending on the nature of the work.

For further information about how we work please download and read ‘Information for Clients’ and ‘Standard Terms of Engagement’.
